MONTREAL LOVE MOB ON SUNNY SUNDAY

You’ve probably already heard about flash mobs. Whether it’s a silent disco happening in London, a pillow fight in Dubai or a frozen get-together at Grand Central Station in New York, it’s a cute way to show some love and celebrate life for its beautiful simplicity. Today, Montrealers decided to pay homage to the 40th anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s bed-in, and reunited downtown for Montreal’s first love mob. We were a few hundred people listening to the flash mob’s instructions on our iPods, in both English and French. The event was fun and gathered the attention of many people all around town – I could even recognize some faces from the Facebook group page!
