Sir Winston Churchill, Crescent Street’s first pub, was founded by John Vago in 1967. Twelve years later, Vago turned the second floor into the cozy atmosphere of Winnie's, which remains one of the Crescent Street musts of today. Karina's piano bar opened in 1999 to cater to patrons who enjoy piano music and dancing until the wee hours. The Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complex, the founding establishment of Crescent Street, is also one of Montréal’s notable landmarks.
