Montréal once again becomes comedy central when the Just For Laughs Festival takes over town from July 7 to 25 this summer. Crowds near and far will be coming to catch the latest acts by the legends and rising stars of the comedic firmament at this world-class tribute to all things hilarious.
For two weeks straight, many of comedy's masters touch down in Montréal to treat audiences to madcap monologues, zinging one-liners and zany tales of life as they see it. This year's lineup includes none other than John Pinette, whose unique point of view and deprecating wit keep audiences coming back for more, the biting comedy of angry man Lewis Black and Montréal’s own human jukebox, Gregory Charles. Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson will be making an appearance too – you won’t want to miss what this iconic sex symbol’s got to share with us!
Also featured is the hardcore humour of the Nasty Show (for adult ears only) and the brand-new Urban Arts which satisfies your carnival side with music, acrobatics and spectacular streetside performances. The entire fest unfolds at the Quartier des spectacles, and will include hundreds upon hundreds of free outdoor performances that are guaranteed to leave you roaring.
