May 9, 2011 – Are you a “Biertrotter” – a beer lover who travels to discover new beers and who seeks out beer fests? If so, raise your glass! The ever-popular Montreal Beer Festival is back for an 18th edition of brews – light to bitter to stout and everything in between - from around the world. And as if things could get any better for lovers of the malt, six new theme areas will be set up at the Place Bonaventure as well as at the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure Hotel from June 8 to 12 for your sipping pleasure.

The newly renamed European Petit Pub Bistro and the Oktoberfest Petit Pub will showcase an incredible selection of international beers (as per usual), the Cheese Dome will offer workshops to help you match what’s in your mug to what’s on your plate, and once your thirst has been quenched, the Biertrotters Beach is an ideal escape for a walk in the sand or even a massage! And there’s also the Silent Dance Esplanade and Stage, a great place to stop and put your hands together after giving your elbow a workout at the pub!

Foodies will be thrilled to hear that the Flaveurs Bières et Caprices epicurean evening is back – June 11, to be exact – and this time, on the Hilton’s rooftop terrace…a perfect place to drink in Montréal’s skyline, a cold one in hand.
