With a mission of promoting Montréal’s emerging music scene and cultivating cross-pollination between the urban music cultures of France, Europe and North America, MEG has featured some of the hottest up-and-coming acts from here and across the pond for the past 10 years. In celebration of a decade—ten years already!—of bringing its fans the very best in contemporary, punk, electronic and other musical styles, this year’s MEG Festival features names like MGMT, Duchess Says, Foals, Chromeo and more, from August 1 to 4.
Everything will be playing out at the MEG stage at Osheaga, Divan Orange, Laïka and the MEG club at Saints. There’s also the MEG cruise boat which will be pulling out of the Old Port for a cruise party on the Saint Lawrence River. Splashin’!
