It’s a match made in pugilist heaven. For the first time since 1980, Montréal’s Centre Bell will be host to champions from the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) as part of the Gala de boxe internationale’s “UNIFICATION” event on April 4, 2009.
Big names like Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, WBC Light Welterweight Champion, and Kendall “Rated R” Holt, WBO Light Welterweight Champion, will be hooking and jabbing and uppercutting their way to glory in the ring.
Fight night will also feature other top dogs like Librado “Never Stops” Andrade and Vitali “The Ukranian” Tsypko in addition to a roster of boxing stars from Québec.
Be among the first to watch these fleet-footed, finely-chiselled athletes bout it out in one of the Montréal’s first major title fights since Roberto Duran defeated Sugar Ray Leonard in the “Brawl in Montréal” at the Olympic Stadium.
