The Salon des métiers d’art du Québec

Socks for your brother. A fondue set for your in-laws. A new toaster for your aunt and uncle…

Wait a minute. ’Tis the season to be merry. And give inspired gifts. So if the holiday season has become a gift-giving conundrum, a stroll through the Salon des métiers d’art will change that faster than you say “Saint Nick”.

More than 450 artisans from across Québec showcase their exclusive wares—which fall under any one of the Salon’s seven craft categories of ceramics, woods, textiles, leathers and skins, paper, metal and other materials—from December 5 to 21 at downtown’s Place Bonaventure. From pottery to jewelry and decorative objects to musical instruments, these talented artisans offer you an array of high-end, handcrafted gifts to choose from.
