June 14, 2012 ─ Imagine yourself with 31 other passengers, all seated in pairs, spinning around on swings in a circle that stretches nearly 30 metres in diameter and all this, 15 storeys up in the air! That would be Vol Ultime, La Ronde’s newest sensational offering for the summer of 2012. And it’s not for the faint of heart!

The latest addition to La Ronde’s already impressive list of rides isn’t called Vol Ultime (or Ultimate Flight) for nothing: this cutting-edge tower ride will swing its daring riders at a speed of almost 60 kilometres an hour at some 45 metres in the air, providing an exceptional vantage point to view La Ronde, Montréal and surrounding area (it just goes by pretty fast!).

Finding Vol Ultime shouldn’t be difficult, but in case you didn’t notice the 30-metre circle of tandem passengers screaming their heads off while soaring high above the amusement park, the Vol Ultime can be found beside Disco Ronde, right behind the Vertigo.

Quebec’s family entertainment destination par excellence, La Ronde offers more than 40 rides and attractions, dazzling shows, as well as entertainment. This large amusement park located close to downtown produces and presents L’International des Feux Loto-Québec présenté par TELUS, the annual Montréal International Fireworks Competition. La Ronde also presents a much-loved annual Halloween FrightFest during weekends in October.

Don’t miss your chance to experience Montréal’s Ultimate Flight at La Ronde – it’s a swinging good time for all ages.
