April 28, 2014 — A great way to spend time with family is to gather up around the table for a delicious meal. Finding the right restaurant to accommodate everyone’s standards (and age group) can be a challenge but it’s not impossible
Here is our list of family friendly restaurants that will delight you as well as the kids
Botanical Garden Restaurant
Walking through the butterflies exhibit and making friends with the creepy crawlers can get you tired. When it’s time to refuel, visit the Botanical Gardens Restaurant. They offer sandwiches, salads and even hot meals. On warm sunny days, between 4-8pm, sit outside on their terrace, enjoy dishes from the tapas menu and take in the live band with Montreal’s most famous gardens as your backdrop.
Juliette et Chocolat
Treating the family to something sweet is made easy at Juliette et Chocolat. The list of Willy Wonkaesque treats like the fabulous crêpes (sweet and savoury), pastries, hot chocolate and brownies seems endless. From lunch all the way to late night chocolate cravings, this is one stop not to miss.
If there’s one restaurant that will convince you to make friends with leafy greens, zucchini and Brussels sprouts, it’s Lola Rosa. Their two locations have become quite popular with Montrealers who love their veggies and have even converted a few convinced carnivores. Their creative vegan and vegetarian friendly menu makes those “Meatless Mondays” much more fun and delicious.
