August 28, 2012 – This fall, Montréal’s new gourmet festival TASTE MTL serves up a feast; from November 1 to 11, 2012, Montréal foodies will have a lot on their plate.
A winning formula
Inspired by the popular event in famous culinary cities around the world, Montréal’s first edition of Restaurant Week has already won the enthusiastic approval of over 90 participating restaurants in every part of the city. Chic five-star restaurants, cozy neighbourhood bistros and “Bring Your Own Wine” eateries have all concocted a wide range of appetizing dishes at delectable prices especially for the occasion.
During TASTE MTL’s 11-day run, participating restaurants will be offering three prix fixe or set evening menus at $19, $29 and $39. Some establishments will also be offering a late-night menu at $19. Clearly, these prices do not include wine, tax or tip.

According to Air Canada’s enRoute magazine, our restaurants – helmed by award-winning chefs – systematically rank among the best new establishments in the country. Montréal is both a member of the prestigious World Network of Gourmet Cities and figures prominently on Travelocity’s list of top food destinations. So, it was only a matter of thyme before Montréal decided to cook up TASTE MTL. The 11-day festival will enable locals and visitors alike to indulge their taste buds at unbeatable prices.
