June 15, 2010 – Do you have second thoughts when it comes to visiting Crescent Street? I did, that is, until the arrival of CAMP on the scene. The newest addition to Crescent Street dining has what it takes and definitely deserves the label of resto-bar: it’s great for a bite out with colleagues at lunch, to meet up with the gang for cocktails and to keep the good times rolling right into a delicious evening meal. Chic yet rustic, the interior design is thanks to Christian Bélanger (of Buonanotte and Saloon fame) and immediately invites long visits and good conversation. The wood-lacquered bar and tables work wonderfully with the magnificent water drop lamps while classics of today and yesterday play softly in the background. The savoury cuisine features many regional delights, including a scrumptious beef or duck tartar. The list of cocktails is extensive; their Absolut vodka selection alone runs the gamut when it comes to flavours. We were treated to attentive and courteous service and were surrounded by a wonderfully unpretentious and friendly clientele. Crescent, you’re going to see more of me!
