Published on April 7, 2010 – Whether you’re young or old, or small or tall, La Ronde promises thrills for everyone – from sky to land to water. And Montréal’s legendary theme park offers fun-seekers of all ages lots of discoveries, including two brand-new rides this summer.
The first, suspended above Lac des Dauphins will bring people a spectacular 689 m high—or halfway up—above the water. Reaching speeds of nearly 90 km/hr and a height of 33 m, this amazing roller coaster, for now, is called the Suspended Looping Coaster. Guaranteed excitement!
The second is called Terminator X or the “ultimate laser battle”. Inspired by the blockbuster movies of the same name, Terminator X features interactive combat between two teams who must go head to head with SkyNET’s artificial intelligence. Set in a futuristic environment to a pulsating soundtrack, your goal is to master your high-tech laser weaponry and emerge victorious!
Of course, the International des feux Loto-Québec will light up the sky summer-long for a 26th consecutive year. Come watch world’s top pyrotechnical artists vie for top prize, the coveted Gold Jupiter.
See you La Ronde this summer!
