July 12, 2012 – With sunshine and summer breezes struts the return of fashionable inspiration, from August 1 to 4, 2012, at the annual Montréal Fashion & Design Festival (MFDF), the city’s platform for unveiling the latest sartorial trends to the world.
Produced and managed by Groupe Sensation Mode, the festival, which is centred downtown around the Main Stage on McGill College Avenue, offers a varied program bringing together leading international fashion labels, a host of renowned national designers, and countless special activities including Clin d'oeil magazine’s Vote and Win contest to crown the fiercest next top model, the Bota Bota High Heel Race for the Canadian Cancer Society, and a casting to determine 80 new faces for the MFDF.
Off the catwalk, music pulses from the Select Stage with beats from, among others, Millimétrik, A-Rock, Alix, and Shaydakiss as the most chic happy hour in town rolls on for four consecutive days.
