From its early beginnings as a roller and ice skating rink to being the home of two Montréal hockey teams, the Maroons and the Canadiens, to hosting countless stars including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Céline Dion, the site of the Montreal Forum has gone through a lifetime of reinvention to become the multiuse entertainment centre that it is today. Twenty-two movie theatres now grace the landmark with industry-leading technology, while a central atrium, incorporating some of the historic seats of the former arena, can accommodate large scale events such as dances and exhibitions.
