Montréal, July 28, 2008 – Tourisme Montréal is pleased to announce that Ms. Norma J. Taylor has been appointed Regional Manager, Meeting and Conventions Sales, for the regions covering Chicago and the Western United States. She joins Dionne Hulsey at the Montréal office in Chicago.
A graduate of Loyola University in Chicago and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Ms. Taylor possesses extensive experience within the meetings industry. For the past three years, she has worked as Regional Sales Manager, Midwest, for the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association in Chicago and as Midwest Regional Director of Sales for Visit Charlotte in North Carolina. Early in her career, Ms. Taylor also worked as the Regional Director of Sales (Chicago and New York) for Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts and as Convention Sales Director for Metropolitan Toronto. This new position with Tourisme Montréal renews the solid ties she forged with industry players in the Canadian market.
