It was an immediate success among Internet users: friendly and interactive, this web platform offers an innovative experience, as much in its design – highlighting Montréal’s signature creativity – as in its content that expertly reflects the city’s rich and varied cultural offering.
In a concerted effort to guarantee continuity of the user experience, Tourisme Montréal has enhanced its site with the addition of a new transactional module. As such, Internet users not only enjoy the leisure of getting a “taste” of Montréal thanks to the site’s dynamic, up-to-date content as well as researching accommodation possibilities, but may also now reserve a room or package through the same web site. To date, 80 Tourisme Montréal partner hotels offer rooms or packages for reservation via the site.
Furthermore, this new transactional module will allow Tourisme Montréal to acquire valuable data relating to its different clienteles. The consequent profiling will serve towards a better understanding of Internet users’ buying habits, resulting in the adaptation of packages according to their wants and needs (such as with the popular Sweet Deal, for example).
