Tourisme Montréal appoints Emmanuelle Legault as Vice President of Marketing, and Tom Czerniecki, as Director of Communications
Montréal, August 18, 2011 – The Honourable Charles Lapointe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tourisme Montréal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Emmanuelle Legault to the position of Vice President of Marketing, and of Mr. Tom Czerniecki to the position of Director of Communications.
With many years of valuable experience gained in marketing, advertising and communications, Ms. Legault joined the Tourisme Montréal team as Director of Communications and Advertising in 2005. In spring 2010, she took on the International Press Relations mandate as well. A communications visionary, she has an extensive background in traditional and interactive media and understands the importance of developing communication tools in a rapidly changing landscape of consumer market trends. Passionate about Montréal, Ms. Legault brings her experience to bear on the promotion of her city to non-local markets. “Stimulating challenges await her in this new position, and I believe that she will rise to the occasion brilliantly,” says the Honourable Charles Lapointe.
As Director of Communications, Mr. Tom Czerniecki will enrich the team with the experience he has acquired throughout his career at different international communications firms, the Société de Financement du Québec, the Hôtel Europa Royal International, and at the French Music Festival in Miami Beach, Florida. His thorough knowledge of marketing, design, and advertising makes him an expert, versatile strategist.
