June 17, 2016 - With summer just around the corner, Montréal will once again play host to the upcoming edition of the International des Feux Loto-Québec. Marking the 32nd anniversary of the annual pyromusical festival, the 2016 edition will not only light up the sky, but the imagination as well.

One of the most popular festivals in Montréal, the international fireworks competition is ready to light up the summer sky on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from July 2 to 30.

Featuring major pyrotechnical artists from Chile, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Spain and Sweden, the most colorful show of the summe will open in a celebration of fictional heroes and all the time, from superheroes to vidoegame stars and movie caharacters.

A musical tribute to Elton John will close the competition with a soundtrack composed of the biggest hits of the singer: Rocket Man, Candle in the Wind, Circle of Life and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road that will have the crowd singing in a magical family atmosphere.
