Tourisme Montreal to Extend Popular “Breakfast in Bed” Program to PCMA Planner Members
Chicago, IL, September 29, 2009 – The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) recently welcomed Tourism Montreal as PCMA’s newest Premier Partner.
“Montreal has long been a supporter of PCMA under the Canadian Tourism Commission but this enhanced commitment to PCMA members represents an even greater commitment to meetings industry education,” said Deborah Sexton, PCMA President and CEO. “The continuing need for our members’ organizations to serve international audiences while watching budgets and travel time commitments, I think makes Montreal a very interesting partner.”
As PCMA’s newest Premier Partner, Tourism Montreal will gain exposure through a hotel key card promotion at both the PCMA Annual Meeting and the midyear conference. In addition, Montreal is sure to win a place in PCMA member planners’ hearts by extending their popular “Breakfast in Bed” program to attendees. One morning during each major event, breakfast in bed will be served to planners staying in the official hotel block.
Montreal will also participate in presenting the PCMA Education Foundation Partnership Summit which gathers the highest level leaders in the meetings industry for networking and education focused on the future of our industry.
“Tourisme Montréal is proud to partner with PCMA, allowing us to forge closer ties with its member planners,” said John C. Dunn, Executive Vice-President of Tourisme Montréal. “This is fantastic opportunity for both organizations to exchange and share information and offer valuable services to PCMA members. Montréal is also looking forward to hosting the PCMA Leadership Conference from June 13 to 15, 2010. It will be the perfect occasion to showcase Montréal’s unique combination of European flair and business savoir-faire and to deliver a meeting PCMA attendees won’t soon forget.”
“The team and tight knit community in Montreal are perfectly suited and ready to serve PCMA attendees,” added Sexton. “What better way to add international flair close by than planning an event in Montreal. It offers such a great and unique package for meetings.”
PCMA offers mutually beneficial partnerships at varying levels: Strategic Partner, Premier Partner, Communication Partner, Event Partner and Affinity Partner.
