May 12, 2011 – Montréal hosts a 54-hole PGA Champions Tour at the Fontainebleau Golf Club in Blainville, with an inaugural edition kicking off from June 29 to July 3, 2011. One of the most illustrious tours in the world of golf, the Montréal leg of the PGA Champions Tour will give golf fans the chance to watch today’s greatest names in golf dominate the links for three memorable summer days. Currently, there are 16 World Golf Hall of Fame Members actively competing in its events, including Tom Watson, Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer, Nick Price, Mark O'Meara and Corey Pavin.

The brand-new Montréal Championship boasts a $1.8 million USD purse, with winner earnings of $270,000 USD.

Fans can eagerly watch their favourite players vie for top honours amid the picturesque greens, fairways, bunkers and woodlands of the Fontainebleau Golf Club, whose last three holes come to a thrilling finish around a beautiful lake, just in view of the clubhouse.
