March 1, 2010 – Have you looked down at your hands lately and thought that your cuticles and company deserved a little more TLC? Well, the beauty buzz these days is all about the new Candy Nail Bar on Plaza St-Hubert, which has girly-girls all agog with its super deluxe nail treatments.
With its hot-pink-and-black boudoiresque interior, Candy Nail Bar sets the tone for how it’s going to doll up your digits. Pampered guests can choose from manicures and pedicures whose names conjure up swish and bling, like the Beverly Hills or the Manhattan or the Ocean Drive combo.
The house specialty, however, is the Harajuku, which dresses nails up in 2-D or 3-D art and sparkly little rhinestones. Owner Tamara Di Lullo, who has trained both here and in Hong Kong, decided it was time to give her clientele access to Japanese-influenced nail art, which they can take over-the-top or keep relatively sweet and simple.
Of course, Candy Nail bar also offers regular manicure and pedicure services, but since its passion lies in nail artistry, don’t you think it’s time your gave full rein to your inner diva and painted your nails into the 21st-century?
