Every year, the FrancoFolies de Montréal continues to thrill with an incredible line-up of many of the greatest artists of the French-speaking world. In fact, the “Francos” offer up all sorts of musical styles and sounds, and features a huge roster of artists, often springboarding local and international talent into the stratosphere of stardom.
There’s a little bit of something for everyone here, whether you’re a fan of world music, a total metal head, a rapper at heart or like to dabble in alternative. And who needs big bucks to sample all of these great sounds? Of the 250 shows, 180 are offered free on 7 outdoor stages at the heart of a car-free section of downtown. So there you have it: eleven days to soak up the rhythm and fun, get the dust and rust off your French and get your booty shakin’. Allez, on fête!
