Inaugurated in 1912, the Ritz-Carlton Montréal has always been synonymous of refinement and elegance. Closed since June 2008, the hotel is undergoing a large-scale transformation. It will reopen at the end of May 2012. The central features of this project will be the total renovation of the hotel to meet the highest worldwide standards of luxury and comfort; as well as the expansion of the building to make room for the construction of luxury residences. Following this transformation, the hotel will have 130 luxury rooms including 31 suites, 9 meeting and banquets salons as well as 46 condo-residences.
