September 20, 2016  The upcoming MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE festival celebrates its 18th edition with a new initiative highlighting the 375th anniversary of Montréal. Indeed, Illuminart will solidify Montreal’s position as a “Smart and Digital City”, with an array of interactive and immersive work that will shine a beautiful fresh light on the festival.

Running from February 23 to March 11, 2017, winter’s must-go-to happening will also transforms the Quartier des spectacles and its Place des Festivals into a welcoming destination for all, with open-air activities showcasing Montréal’s renowned celebratory spirit and flair for entertainment.

Foodies will be treated to dishes served up by some renowned international chefs at esteemed Montreal establishments.

A special art programming, from theatrical and classical to dance and blues will get your toes tapping for the occasion.

As usual, the festival closes with the “Nuit Blanche” (all-nighter), which invites you to enjoy some 180 downtown activities (many related to the thriving art scene), all linked by a free shuttle service.

International food, music, art, and a host of surprises await you at MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE, where the warmth of festivalgoers charms even the coldest of February nights.
