From its early beginnings as a skating rink to being the home of two Montréal hockey teams, the Maroons and the Canadiens, to hosting countless stars including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Céline Dion, the Montreal Forum site has gone through a lifetime of reinvention to become the multiuse centre that it is today. Twenty-two AMC movie theatres now grace the landmark with industry-leading technology, while a central atrium, incorporating seats of the former arena, can accommodate large scale events such as dances and exhibitions. The Forum also houses a sports bar, restaurants, boutiques, pool tables, and bowling alleys.
