Overview Services

Located near the Rivière-des-Prairies, the Parc-Nature de l'Île-de-la-Visitation, and the Sault-au-Récollet historic site, Cité historia enlivens development in the northern part of Montréal. You can see the oldest extant church in Montréal, the houses on Gouin Boulevard, and mills that were active from 1726 to 1960. Its museum recounts the history of Sault-au-Recollect, the colony, and the Amerindian mission up to the 20th century. In 2015, the museum will open an exhibition at the Maison du Pressoir. Its Bistro has one of the best terraces in town. Cité historia offers entertainment for everyone: guided tours, train rides, concerts, day camp...It received the 2013 Award of Excellence from the Montréal Architectural Heritage Operation campaign.
