In the tradition of Vengerov and Repin, German violinist Christian Tetzlaff is a prodigy, a complete artist whose thoughtful, sensitive interpretations have earned him the highest critical praise. His OSM debut in the Tchaikovsky concerto is a must-see event. In fact, it is a double event, for he will be accompanied by the British conductor Sir Andrew Davis, who will also lead the Orchestra in Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and the Symphony No. 1 by his countryman Elgar.
