The extraordinary musical comedy Les Misérables, staged by the Capitole de Québec, will be performed in Montréal for the first time as part of the FrancoFolies. Created in 1985 by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, honoured with over 50 prestigious awards, translated into 21 languages and presented in 38 countries for over 54 million spectators, Les Misérables is the third largest musical comedy in Broadway history (after A Chorus Line and Phantom of the Opera).
