The Frenchman Ludovic Morlot, ranks among the most eagerly sought conductors of the younger generation and has been on the podiums of some leading orchestras of the United States and Europe. He leads the OSM for the first time in a program that focuses on both orchestral and pianistic virtuosity. In the latter capacity he is joined by pianist Yuja Wang, an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist.
