Overview

Gioacchino Rossini, one of the most highly celebrated composers of his day, finds in women his musical inspiration. He will call them Rosina, Isabella, Angelina, the heroins of his operas. Created especially for the Atelier lyrique, the evening proposes the finest excerpts of the Barber of Seville, the Italian Girl in Algiers and Cinderella. All the sparkling effervescence of Rossini’s music - captivating melodies, exhilirating vocal fireworks! A golden opportunity for the artists of the Atelier to collaborate with the most promising designers of the National Theater School of Canada.
