This multidisciplinary and innovative exhibition is the first to explore the interaction between the visual arts and the Venetian musical scene with its operas and splendid balls. Inspiring the most eminent artists, including Titian, Bassano, Strozzi, Tintoretto, the Tiepolos, Guardi, Longhi, and Canaletto, the marriage of music and the fine arts gave birth to a number of painting masterpieces.
