Granby Zoo is the most significant zoological garden in Québec, with trails allowing visitors to observe over 1,000 animals from about 200 exotic species, including elephants, giraffes, gorillas, and tigers. Curious humans can attend 20 or so presentations by zookeepers and educators, while the bravest can confront the stormy waves left behind by the god Hurakan at the Amazoo Yoplait Waterpark. Access to the Waterpark and the amusement rides within the zoo is included in the entry fee. The new South Pacific Pavilion will begin enchanting guests starting in summer 2011.
