A beautiful patch of green set in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, the Parc Jean-Drapeau is undeniably one of Montréal’s great treasures. Some fifteen renowned public artworks – including L’Homme (The Man), the immense stabile by Calder – are on permanent display, some even dating back to Expo ’67. Beside each creation is an information panel to explain the work in its context. The park’s pedestrian trails afford a marvellous way to discover this incredible public art gallery all year long.
