Open to the public since 1996, the Musée des ondes Emile Berliner is dedicated to the history and evolution of the creation, production, reproduction, recording, and broadcasting of sound. Located in the old RCA Victor factory in the Saint-Henri neighborhood of Montréal, the Musée also collects acoustical and architectural plans and other documents related to the audio industry. Thanks to the generosity of more than 500 donors, the Musée collection now boasts more than 30,000 objects.
