The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Québec's leading cultural ambassador, treats audiences to some 100 concerts each year. Performances are held primarily at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier of Place des Arts, downtown as well as in Old Montréal's Notre-Dame Basilica. In warmer weather, a series of public concerts are featured in Montréal's parks. Kent Nagano, the OSM's music director, conducts numerous concerts every season.
