After surprising passersby in cities such as London, Rome, Yamaguchi, Vancouver, Lyon and New York, the dancer and choreographer Paul-André Fortier will be redefining public space in Montreal with Solo 30x30. At the same hour for thirty days in a row, he will dance in silence for thirty minutes. In the ceaseless ebb and flow of a crowd in transit, the dancer will submit his art to the reactions of hurried pedestrians. With unwavering determination, he singlehandedly incarnates the ongoing tension between the individual and the city. A Danse Danse/ Place des Arts co-presentation.
