Three hundred years ago, a whole community came together to realize the dream of that courageous women, Marguerite Bourgeoys. Masons, carpenters, joiners and other workers dedicated their ancestral skills to the building of Montreal’s first stone chapel. In this guided visit of the archaeological site, you can admire the remains of that chapel and so form an idea of the scale of such a building project it the 17th century.
