Chronicles of a Disappearance is a group show bringing together major works from five acclaimed international artists: Philippe Parreno, Taryn Simon, Teresa Margolles, Omer Fast, and José Toirac. The exhibition explores different notions of disappearance as articulated across the personal, social, and political realms. All of the works stage and conceptualize themes of mourning, absence, and loss and recount rich, associative histories while uncovering the hidden and the inaccessible (that which is made to disappear from view).
