The SMCQ Ensemble pays homage to Claude Vivier, who died tragically 30 years ago. Underscoring this anniversary by programing two of the composer’s most notable works in which mysticism, exoticism, and nostalgia evoke disturbing feelings, the SMCQ welcomes talented soloists Louise-Andrée Baril and Noémi Racine Gaudreault.
