As 2010 shines the spotlight on glass, the Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montreal joins museums and galleries of the city with a display of glass objects dedicated to healthcare. Non reactive and easy to sterilize, this material is found in hospitals and laboratories. Objects both unusual and beautiful have been created for fields as varied as ophthalmology, pharmacy, surgery and healthcare in general.
