It was a blind teenager of a mere sixteen years of age who, thanks to his inherent practicality and scientific nature, opened the doors of knowledge and social equality to the blind. Braille, the six magic points of his invention, adapts to all languages and all technologies. This exhibition unveils a lesser-known collection from the Service québécois du livre adapté as well as numerous books and items on loan from the Nazareth Institute for the Blind and Louis Braille. Explore the numerous aspects and challenges faced daily by the visually handicapped and, above all, the tools and objects that give them access to knowledge and to express their creativity.
