Founded in 1949, Théâtre du Rideau Vert is the oldest professional theatre company in Québec. It has created eclectic programmes made up of light Parisian comedies, dramas, classical pieces and avant-garde plays. Its last renovation which has increased the assistance capacity to 426 seats, won a prize for architecture. Whether adapting plays from popular films or showcasing small independent scripts, the Théâtre du Rideau Vert always has an entertaining show on the bill.
