Curling has become an Olympic sport but it was once the highlight of winter for our ancestors. Come try your skills at curling on natural, outdoor ice sheets, under the same conditions found by the Scottish soldiers in the 18th century when cannonballs were transformed into irons. Novices and seasoned curlers are guided by costumed interpreters. This friendly encounter ends with a cup of hot broth. A special request will include storytelling around a campfire.
