This truly unique visual art exhibition featuring Aboriginal artists from Québec’s eleven nations is presented by the Institut Tshakapesh, a not-for-profit cultural and educational institute that has been serving eight Innu communities with a total population of 10,000 on the North Shore and Lower North Shore for the last thirty years. Their mission: “To help preserve the Innu language and encourage the development of Innu linguistics, and preserve and promote our cultural heritage, without disregarding Montagnais crafts…”
