Plunge into the world of two villages from another time, two rivals in the area surrounding the Saint-Maurice River. On each side of its banks, two mysterious children sow turmoil through their strange faculties, namely the ability to spit gold and silver. On the snow covering the villages, with their lumberjacks and raftsmen, as though under the ice of a great river with its dark and deep waters, the devil patiently waits for his seeds of hate to grow and flourish.
