A video collage made up of thousands of film excerpts that contain various references to time: watches, clocks, lines delivered by different characters, etc. No matter when the viewer looks at the work, the time shown in the excerpts corresponds to real time. With a 24-hour running time, The Clock itself thus acts as a watch and leads us to ponder the passage of time.
