April 5-9, get set for an immersive audio-visual experience, amazing DJs and dancing until the wee hours of the morning. The 18th edition of Montreal’s White Party Week, put on by Playground Productions, is ready to top all previous years as it comes of age with a 15 hour lineup including Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Danny Tenaglia, Ferry Corsten, a live performance by Nadia Ali and more!
The centerpiece of this years Bal en Blanc will be the Godskitchen Fusion Cube. Don’t know what a fusion cube is? Let me explain: It’s a massive multi-function stage structure that will bring the whole experience of lights, sound and projections to a whole new level. The cube made its debut in 2011, and Bal en Blanc will be the North American debut! Over 130 light fixtures, 460 meters of LED strips, and close to 150 square meters of LED screens, all combined with digital projections.
New year, new warning: Don’t be that one fool not wearing white. You will be teased, you will be taunted and you won’t have the full Bal en BLANC experience. DJ Mag Canada is even having a costume contest, so if you really put lots of time and effort into your outfit it could pay off. Don’t copy me, but I’m planning on going as the Michelin Man’s gay stepson.
Ready for the party? Tickets are available here. The official hotels of the White Party Weekend are the W Montreal and Westin. Both places offer special rates if you mention that you’ll be attending the rave!
