Brunch like a Montrealer at La Fabrique
If Saturdays in Montréal are all about staying up late for food, drinks, music and socializing, then it should come as no surprise that Sundays are all about relaxing and re-charging your batteries. Yes, for us brunch is a long, drawn-out affair, where café au lait and breakfast fare are served well into the afternoon.
Care to join me for a taste of what’s on the menu at my favourite place for a classy brunch?
La Fabrique is the place to be for brunching in style. They offer a gourmet twist on classics served up in a casually chic milieu. Their Sunday brunch menu changes from week to week, but always includes an overwhelming variety of options. Whether you start with traditional fruit pancakes or something more daring like poached eggs with beef tartare, there’s no turning down their freshly squeezed grapefruit mimosas.
When I went last week, there was no line, no need for a reservation, though I know it often gets quite busy. Expect to spend between $15-$20 for a complete meal.
