Montreal’s McCord Museum, loved by young and old alike for its walks through Canadian history, hosts a show featuring the Cirque du Soleil, in tribute to Totem, the current Cirque show in Montreal.  (And what a show it is, under the Pantone-bright blue and yellow circus tents in the Old Port!  Dream Weavers shows costumes, videos, and images from the Cirque’s surrealistic world full of wonder.

You’ll become a child again as you gaze in awe upon gorgeous fabrics that transport you into the Cirque’s fantastic fantasies.  The brightly coloured exhibit sits in the McCord Beaux-Arts building full of archeological shards, textiles and costumes from other eras as well as daguerreotypes and photos from the Notman Archives. Wander in.  But reserve at least half a day for time with the beautiful and the bizarre.  You will love it all!
