  • EATING IN THE DARK AT O.NOIR RESTAURANT

    Posted by

There are restaurants that intrigue us, not because of the food so much, but because of the experience. O.Noir is certainly one of the most mysterious dining venues around town. Served by blind waiters, you eat in complete darkness.

This restaurant gives you a glimpse (if you pardon the expression) of what it feels like to be blind, even if it’s just for a couple of hours. The experience is unnerving, entertaining and unforgettable. Just make sure you don’t put salt in your coffee!

For added mystery, ask for the surprise dish and put your other senses to the test figuring out what you’re eating. And for an evening that also tickles your ears, come on a Sunday night and dine while jazz band Les Ombres perform.

It's also so profound how you can be entrenched in cosmopolitan life and minutes later be surrounded by nature...and those clouds; there's no clouds like the ones over Montreal--surreal and oh so beautiful.
